The Union Electrical Industry is fast paced , diverse and demanding. Given the physical nature of the many classifications it is no surprise that workers safety is a priority. Unions bargain safety into contracts, companies host safety standdowns, and committees are formed all with the singular purpose to keep the workforce and job site safe. With physical safety being paramount, mental health can often be overlooked, and dismissed. However the need for mental health programs in this field is vital.
